1 I

1-i is the type of fun game that can keep you in front of your computer for hours. The funny character, which is pretty much a two eared jumping blob with only one eye, has one mission on his mind. He needs to feed on green blobs and avoid the blue ones that are not good for him.

This is a straightforward kind of game. You will be in charge of the one eyed character, which, from the start of your game, will be placed on a perpetuum mobile trampoline. The game is played using the arrows on your keyboard, so you can basically only steer 1-i (as the character is called) to the left and to the right, so he can avoid the blue blobs that consume his life bar.

You will notice the health bar on the bottom side of the screen. Blue blobs can be quite nasty, since only a few of them can get your health bar pretty low. The green blobs, on the other hand, bring you points, which add to your high score. Scores earned is displayed on the right side of the screen.

While you may not avoid blue blobs all the time, the real challenge consists of avoiding as many as you can. Keep an eye on the score, as it gets better and better, the more green blobs you eat with your one-eyed friend. You cannot control how high 1-i can jump, since the trampoline dictates his upwards moves, but you can steer it left and right so that you can get the perfect timing for him and help him score as many points as you want.

There is also a reward at the end of the game. Once your health bar reaches zero, the game will be over, but you will be able to save a wallpaper with 1-i on your computer and show it to your friends. Even if the current game is over, you should not feel disappointed. You can just hit the Play Again button and try to beat your own score. It may take you a bit of time to get used to 1-i’s quirky moves, but, once you get the hang of it, you will not want to stop playing!
